Yonabaru – La Pausa Dolce

Yonabaru – La Pausa Dolce

Route 329, where the Yonabaru Police Station is located, from there go straight north for about 500m, then you will see a white banner that says Italian gelato on your left, That is “La Pausa Dolce” with a glass-enclosed and chic storefront, you can enjoy homemade gelato, cakes, drip coffee and baked sweets. The name of the shop “La Pausa Dolce” is Italian and means “The Sweet Break” in English.

When I entered the store of La Pausa Dolce, there was an alcohol disinfection machine for Covid-19 countermeasures.

A type that sprays alcohol just by holding your hand without touching anywhere.

A gelato showcase and a baked confectionery showcase line up in a small store.

On the other side of the showcase, a pretty handsome owner handles customers by himself.

According to the owner, the hand-made gelato is made by selecting the best fruits and ingredients for each season, so it’s not always the same.

A showcase of baked sweets on the entrance side.

It’s so stylish.

This luxurious packaging should be very appreciated as a souvenir or gift.

The ceiling light is a gentle color that matches the chic red ceiling.

The warm color lamp is also cute.

With this combination, when you see it from the outside at night, the shop should have a floating atmosphere.

The gelato lined up in the showcase that day was 8 types in total,
“raspberry”, “chocolate”, “lemon”, “mango”, “vanilla”, “pistachio” and 2 more.

The gelato menu is only two sizes, “double 530 yen” and “triple 610 yen”.

And maybe because Yonabaru Elementary School is next to the shop, “Kids’ Gelato 300 Yen” menu is available for junior high school students and younger.

And a gelato sandwich called “Maritozzo” for 550 yen.

And coffee menus are

Ice Americano ¥430
Hot Americano ¥430
Ice cafe latte ¥480
Affogato ¥550.

I didn’t know what “affogato” was, so I asked the owner, and he said it’s a rich milk gelato with freshly brewed espresso coffee poured over it.

The coffee is brewed with an espresso machine after receiving an order, so you can enjoy the most fragrant state.

Payment methods include various credit cards and smartphone payments.

La Pausa Dolce doesn’t have a proper parking lot, but there’s a small vacant space behind the store, so if it is no car, you can park a cars.

The left side of the back is the parking lot of the elementary school, so you can not park.

Shop cards with cute illustrations.

Business hours are from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm, four days a week from Thursday to Sunday.

With this quality, I think it is able to open the shop in the middle of Naha, but I think it’s stylish enough to open the shop in the local area like Yonabaru.

We’ve purchased some baked goods for the family as a souvenir.

Even the simple brown paper bag is also cute.

…eh? How was the taste of the gelato?

In one word, “So rich taste”.
